Check this wallpaper out!

Nooo...
3 weeks and a day.. I needn't explain..

So i've given up hope (nearly) on waiting for my internet to come back.. I'll tell ya guys if it ever does. >.<..

I've decided to be more active in some away-from-the-computer activities, so here're some activities that i've gotten into:

Rock band
I joined a band created by my friend Kayasakizta, we went for our first practice (which ended up with me being kinda embarassed for not playing a great role in the band, whatever), and as usual, its up to me for some wallpaper-designing.

Wanna have a look?
Here you are.

Braces Exception (1024x768 Wallpaper)

Its free for all to download as their own wallpaper, i don't mind much really.. Just give some comments about it if you want and i'll try to improve my work next time.

Frisbee
Yeah, i decided to go to the frisbee "training" after all, and after my 1st and 2nd meeting, well, it wasnt so bad! I think im starting to develop a liking for frisbee since then, i dunno..
Anyone who likes to join the frisbee training can contact "Teoh" at 012-5102701, he's going back to KL in the end of August.

On another tone, i've just attended our school's annual Malam Budaya (Cultural Night), and honestly.. i felt that its kinda downgraded compared to last year. It's more like a "Malam-untuk-orang-tiada-bakat-tetapi-ingin-mempersembah" for me. Don't ever tell the teachers that i said that, or im dead, XD. The show was prolonged by, as i said, non-budaya events, including a "Karaoke-singing" event by the school governors.

Still praying for my line anyway..
Bye.

Wivout, the ultimate Ger-inglish

From what i gathered in today's assembly, every third Sunday of every month is to be called "English-speaking Week", in order to "improve our English" as the headmaster said. So, im gonna love the third week so much, as i'll get to listen to most teachers struggling to speak English (XD, im soo evil, mwahahaha)

Assembly continued with our headmaster "speaking English", mis-pronouncing "island-key" as "ellen-key"; "without" as "wivout", and now im starting to wonder if he's German or something, XD. And the usual patriotic song competition commenced with the best presentation i've seen so far this year - class 4.4.. Too bad for you that i won't give comments though, haha. The other thing i found out today was about KKLim. He seems abit stressed out nowadays, probably because some parents complained about him for his "off-topic-instead-of-teaching" attitude..
Unlucky him, now he's suggesting that he'd rather be transferred to another school, how times change..

And to end it all, my internet still isnt back. Its been 2 weeks and a day now (I counted, duh!) and they havent did a damn thing about it, even after we made our complaints.

I guess i'll just have to stick to my newfound communication way: Sms!
Guess what, there's like 800+ free smses in my mother's handphone, so she lent it to me for some "amateur-smsing" with my friend, :P

Im still bored out of my head.
God help me.
I ain't who i used to be anymore.
Whatever.
Seeya.

The love of frisbee

Sigh..
Sigh..!
Okay, sigh.
One week and 4 days, and my internet isnt back, yet..
Of course, i did ask my dad to report to the Telekom company today, so i hope i'll just have to wait one or two days more, (I hope).

Okay i'll talk some school-talk.
A guy who's studying in Nottingham university (The one in KL, not in Europe!), who loves frisbee (till he's addicted i think) came to our school today, mainly to spread his love of frisbee to us (see i told you, he loves frisbee so much!)

Teoh (as he was called), explained that he loves frisbee (okay, enough), and has seen the sport being popular for like around 5 years in KL, but unfortunately (for him), not here in SP. So he started to talk, talk, and talk, while explaining that frisbee isnt the game we used to think it was - that is, frisbee isnt only for dogs.

Next. He divided us into a few groups, handed us a frisbee each (with his name written in large on the back, oh my god, what egoism..) and started teaching us the basics - How to hold a frisbee, XD.

There we were, skipping two periods of class (yay~) throwing frisbees from one to another, mastering the "throwing technique" that he wanted us to master. Not very interesting, just kinda reminds me of myself when i was younger back then, throwing the "Fernleaf-milk-tin-cover" (You know, the soft plastic one, not the metal one..) as a frisbee. Other than that, its kinda.. ordinary? Whatever. And oh ya. From what i knew, Teoh even set up a "class" in Jubli Perak park for those interested to learn (in my opinion thats quite a nice thing to do). And now im torn between going or not going, so i'll decide later, i think.

Oh, btw, i bought a ticket for our school's "Malam Budaya" / "Cultural Night", i pretty well hope the show is worth the RM15 i paid for it.

Argh, that reminds me.. Our PMR trial exam is coming! Its on the 24th of August, and look what am i still doing, still doing my usual blogging, gaming, "goyang kaki"-ing, you name it.

I wonder why did i wrote this entry anyway, its so uninteresting..

Nonsense..

Argh, the internet isnt back still! And i got this problem where some of my friends couldnt connect to my blog, its GLACIALZ.BLOGSPOT.COM, please don't try the Ice.Any.To link anymore, its doesnt exist.

On a lighter tone, our class finally presented our "Lagu Patriotik" today morning, with me playing the guitar.

My opinion?
The presentation sucks more today, even worse than our usual practicing condition.

Reasons :

1) Why - Don't - Some - Of - You - Dare - To - Sing - Out - LOUD?!

2) The drumbeat, the drumbeat..! How could you mess up suddenly today..?

And on perfect timing, my guitar E-1st string snapped again, i don't know why it does that, but its definitely not the string's fault, its the guitar.

When did it snap? The final sentence of our song:"Dengan iltizam... *SNAP*, pasti kita berjaya~"
Most of my friends agreed that the timing's cool, at least it didnt snap while i was halfway in the song.
Nah, i wouldn't want to dwell on past events.. All in all, a not-bad presentation (At least we don't have to resing, :D), and what i could say is: Better luck next time.

Sigh, i wish i could use my someone's computer to upload all my blog posts.. Sigh sigh..

The day i died..

So here i am, back, safely in one piece, from my trip to Johor, the place where i have gone to so many times that i could tell you how to get there..

The first thing i found out after coming back? - Sheesh, my internet connection was gone again, thanks to those copper-wire thieves who don't have a life of their own. I truly hate them for messing up my internet life, especially when i just came back, sigh. Pitiful me, typing my blog draft into a New Text Document.txt, planning to upload it sometime later, if my internet ever comes back. I just hope its not gonna be another 3 weeks or something, or i'm gonna kill the tmnet guys personally.

Enough of my complains, i'll be guessing that you guys want a brief descriptions of my travel to Johor eh?

Here goes:

-=- Thursday -=-
I came back from school, had my lunch, and departed from home at 2.15pm, packed in a car with my 3 other family members - Dad, mom and my bro. Nothing extraordinary happened during the trip. We reached Bidor in the noon and had some of the "Wan Tan Mee" in a shop which is famed for the noodles. (Some shop called "An Soon" or something, go figure).

Our journey continued with a direct drive to Kuala Lumpur, night fell, and we stopped at a shop to have the KL "Hokkien Char" and "Loh Mee" (Mind you, although they have the same name as the food here, well, they're COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from the ones here) with my sister and her boyfriend, who're both working in KL. Dinner commenced with much talk about current conditions, stuff - the ones long-distance family members usually talk about. How bout the night?

We spent the night at YMCA (Stands for "Young Men's Christian Association", lets sing the YMCA song!) as usual, as the price's reasonable and its considered in a nice condition.

-=- Friday -=-
I was waken up by my dad at 5.00am, informing me that we'll start early to Johor so we could come back to KL at night in time. Everybody bathed (Sheesh, the water heater broke down with no reason, so we had to literally "freeze ourselves" there) and we checked out of the hotel and started our way to Johor.

Breakfast? We took our light breakfast at KFC Jejantas Ayer Keroh (The KFC's the only place that's open there) and our actual breakfast at Yong Peng, Johor. And oh did i mention? Most of the people in Johor thinks that we (my family) are Singaporeans, probably because of our height? Or our ability to speak English? Or our outfits? Ask them, not me, XD. Anyway, a guy told us that its a holiday "for some states in Malaysia" on Fridays. Imagine his expression when we told him we're from Kedah and we know that, lol.

Noon. We finally got to Parit Raja, Johor - Its a very, very, very, very, very rural place, trust me on this, but probably you get to enjoy the nature here. We went to a relative's house, bringing some durians my dad bought at Yong Peng for them. Hmm, did i say that i hated durians? Well, i don't quite like them (durians). However, i did eat some (against my own conscience), for relatives' sake?.. Lunch was taken in a coffeeshop in town, and with a farewell and a hug, we left my brother there, and we started back to KL.

First destination: Midvalley Megamall! There we went, phoning my sister again, informing them of our arrival, and we had dinner at a Kenny Rogers restaurant - without my sister :P. Hmm, what did i eat? -=> Package of the Day - "Go Green! Rice + Salad + Roasted Chicken"; warm yummy mushroom soup, and a "Winter" themed Four Seasons Fizzy Drink.Considered cheap, and im contented. The night was spent at the YMCA again, as we managed to book a room, fortunately..

-=- Saturday -=-
I woke up.
I went back to sleep.
I woke up.
Okay, im not going back to sleep again.
After a washup, i went down to "have my breakfast", which is like.. Free, as they gave us a complimentary breakfast voucher. Nothing much happened when i ate my cheese sandwiches, unless you count the event where the Minister of Housing - Ong Ka Chuen came to give a talk in the hall there.

Perfect. We started our homecoming journey at noon, and had Cantonese food lunch at 3.00pm in Ipoh. Guess what, its rice again. *Faints*.. Okay, okay.. I decided that i'd eat bread for the next week, as i think im suffering from "Rice-phobia : The fear of rice".

Reached home at 5.00pm, and the first thing i did? Yeah, yeah you know me.. Rushed up to the computer room, flicked all the switches on, and waited. Hey wait, why's the modem not connecting to the internet? I picked up my phone, and - s-i-l-e-n-c-e. Thats when i started screaming in agony till the whole housing compound hears. Nah, im just joking about the screaming part..

Thats all. Reading back, i think im getting a lil' "Grandma-story"-like, which is kind of unusual for me..

Bye for now.

Green Fingers

I did something out of the ordinary (other than my usual routine of sitting in front of the computer doing nothing) today.

Days ago, the Cheong family (Think of Class 3A if you don't know who am i talking about. As usual, i won't disclose any direct names) who were going to move in next to my house (Yep, next to us) came and had some sort of "preview", looking around the house compound - stuff that people do before moving in, you get what i mean. If im not wrong they're going to move in nextdoor on the 8th of July. Thats the date i think i heard, so im not definitely certain.

Just two hours before this post, her mom phoned, and i was the one who picked up (As usual, i picked up after 1 ring..) She informed me that her son (the Form 5 KRS guy) will be coming for some "weed-removing-work", and requested my help for it.

Ironically, 5 minutes later, he and i were - you guessed it - cangkul-ing away under the sun, our sweat flowing down like rain. We didn't talk much as this is just the first time we met (i think), and eventually, we finished the work kinda satisfactorily.

Things i've learnt :

-=- There're a HELL lot more things hidden underneath the ground outside my house than i thought, haha.. I found something thats shaped like a crystal, transparent like a crystal too, dunno what's it made of (but definitely not crystal, or not i'd be rich), sized around the size of my fist, lol.

-=- Gardening (digging up weeds, etc) is kinda fun in a way, don't know how to explain it.

To sum it all, a wonderful experience for me, not being in front of the computer for an afternoon.. XD, i think im deprived of being in the outdoors, no, seriously.

Hmm, well, happy house-moving-in to the Cheong family, and..

It's gonna be goodbye to my brother who's going back to Johor for his studies in UTHM tomorrow, and i'll be following, so don't expect me being at home from Thursday evening till Saturday night. Sigh, im gonna be bored again, unable to pwn games using his computer specs.. XD.

Sayonara.
