Chances

Look, everyone appreciates a chance given to them, right?

"Here, you can have a go on my car"

And we'll be like "Oh geez! You trust me to drive it? Thanks a bunch!"

Obviously, chances are defined as tokens of trust that is given by an individual to another.

"Hey Ryo, would you wanna come over for our band practice at Cat's house?" -Shelhiel.

That marked the start of my experience in a band.
The Banana Chapalang Bloody Band.
I got the chance to play as a bassist in a band - and that's the bloody first time that i ever played a bass guitar.
I turned out okay though.
Our performance in the annual dinner was considered "not bad".

And it all started with a guy that gave a chance to a talentless me.
Thanks to him, i've got experience in a band.
Thanks to him, i met two new friends - whom i never spoken a word to before.

Thanks a lot, guyz.

"Ryo, your badminton skills is considered okay already. Just a few more trainings and you'll be better." -Yeap.

That's how i got invited to every badminton practice scheduled by him.
That's one of the remaining "exercise outlets" that i could go to, as frisbee's not much fun nowadays - my friends are starting to lose enthusiasm for it.
And that's how i got a chance to improve my meagre badminton skills.
And to socialise with friends whom i couldn't usually meet during the holidays.

Well, i'll get back to my point.

Everybody has talent.

Its either they SHOW their talent or they DO NOT have enough courage to show them.

How do we help them dig out their hidden talent?

By giving them chances, of course.

A simple
"Cmon Rachel, sing a song for us!"
might shape a future that goes like..
"Ohmigod, Rachel's gonna perform in KL! You got tickets for her concert already?"

The word i use the most nowadays - "Who knows?"

The achievement of your future might depend on a simple chance given to you by someone in the present.

Whether it be sports, management or other talent skills - give the chance to beginners if you already did it before.

They need it more than you.
They'll appreciate it and they'll be grateful.
They might succeed in the future because of you.

Think about it, it isn't such a bad thing isnt it?
Giving chances to people?
