XD.
Well, firstly, thanks to Inn for putting up that notice, quite fast after i informed you o.o||
Here goes a BRIEF summary of my trip to KL. I promise that it'll not be long.
Read about the landslide in KL when i was in Lowyat Plaza.. Was actually silently happy - grateful that we weren't near (or at) Bukit Antarabangsa, Ulu Klang.
To think that i was just miles away from getting involved in a landslide disaster, and who knows, i might lose my life or something, or i might lose the handkerchief in my pocket. (Wth that's so random?!)
Well, here's some good things about Sungai Petani - the Farmer's River.
According to my dad, there hadn't been any serious disasters in Sungai Petani. Not much crime, no landslide (not that i know of anyway), no curfew, no whatever-whatever disasters.
But i'll have to add one more.
No GOOD internet service.
*Rewinds back time*
The 6th of December, the first day of our departure to KL - Dad phoned the our local ISP (Telekom), asking them to send someone over to fix the interferences in our line - both internet and phone.
Well, what they did was -
They arrived.
They unplugged the telephone wire for 30 minutes.
They reconnected the line, and phoned us asking whether the phone line's okay.
Lo and behold, the line's still the same as ever - crackly and noisy. We gave them our reply then - No.
They said they'll CHANGE the line then. (Omg what the hell were they doing previously then?)
And they drove off.
We couldn't do anything, had to start our journey to KL already.
And to find that they havn't did a damn thing about the line, except to leave it unattended, unfixed for 5 days.
Geez, the workers should use Google.
repair: restore by replacing a part or putting together what is torn or broken.
It's definitely not "remove and not giving a damn about it anymore".
Well, lets see.. Criticizing Telekom again - Check.
Now for the next part.
Window-shopped at Lowyat Plaza - nah, was actually just tagging along with my brother, who was looking for his new 22" LCD monitor - Samsung 2233BW. Too bad, the version was already "obsolete", so says the person who worked in Samsung. Every other shop gave the same response too.
So he settled for a Samsung 2233SW, which isnt the one he wanted. The ratio was 16:9 instead of the 16:10 on his initial target (2233BW).
Ah well, i'd better stop the computer terms right now. What i'm trying to say is - My brother got a replacement for his 17" LCD monitor.
And i got a replacement for my 15" CRT monitor too - his LCD, mwahahaha.
So now my computer set's wholly black, all except the keyboard.
Mwahaha mwahaha, that just makes my loss of the internet more bearable..
Out.
