My version of PSILY's review:
*** WARNING : SPOILER ALERT!! ***
Holly Kennedy was devastated after her husband - Gerry Kennedy's death - she was disorganized, unable to accept the fact that Gerry was gone forever. Previously relying on Gerry's help to live her life, Holly was helpless from every aspect - ranging from her housekeeping, to her garden (and yeah, probably her whole life too). Holly was shocked when she received a list from Gerry - the list that Gerry jokingly said (when he was alive) that he would write for her to guide her after he dies.
The "list" of ten letters total - March till December - contains words of encouragement, and plans that Gerry made for Holly. The "plans" range from making Holly a more courageous and stronger person, and finally becoming someone that would find new love, and survive without Gerry. And as Yimin said, the letters were all signed with a "P.S. I love you" by Gerry - That kinda explains the title, eh?
The story develops with Holly meeting new friends, witnessing the change of people's traits, and re-trying out the thing she fears - participating in a singing competition. All of those were probably foreseen by Gerry before he died.
In fact, a nice novel - not really up to my taste - as i don't really read romance novels much, but i'd recommend it anyway.
Rating - 4 out of 5.
*PS: No, im not gonna say I love you! Just a happy birthday wish to lyming! kaka..

I was surprised by this film - I thought I'd hate it as it looks like a total chick flick, but it was actually quite heartfelt and the idea of someone leaving behind messages for a loved one really got to me. If you ever wanted to do it for real, I found this cool site called www.farawayfish.com, where you can store a profile all about your life, and even write emails to be sent out to loved ones after your death. It's like the movie come true!
