Passport

Went for a jog with CCM around Tmn Melati this morning - actually we had no idea where we were supposed to jog, we just ran around, kampung roads, shops, schools, whatever.
Btw, quite nice to know that someone's starting to see sense at last - to start training up for the Penang Bridge Internation Marathon (PBIM) which is on next Sunday (i think).

Back from the jog at 8.10AM, and i started breakfast.

My morning was actually devoted to the government registration thingy department - to get a passport for me. Decided to bring the novel La Dame aux Camelias there, but changed my mind - what if it goes missing or something?

My time at the department was.. considered quite interesting - there, i got to see quite a few types of people, no matter how bored it was.

While i was at the "Photo-taking" counter, i met the first kind:

Proud Malay Lady
Description - Short, wears square-framed specs, arrogant-type face.
Events -
Actually i was standing in the middle of the corridor, and she was trying to get past me. An "excuse me" would be fine enough for me, but what she actually did was just shove me slightly to the side - nothing said. Kinda rude in a way, but oh well..
No matter, i just kept quiet, till the time she was supposed to be in front of me in the queue, but the clerk there serviced me first instead of her.
*Evil-laughs silently*

Got my form and photo ready, so i took a number and started waiting for my turn for the next counter. While waiting, there's the next cute boy who caught my eye:

Cute lil' Arab (i think) Boy
Description - Aged around.. 3 - 4 years old, with an adorable face.
Events -
Actually there was nothing much interesting about him. Just the normal kids-thingy - tugging and pulling at her mother's large selendang (it was really large!), and playing Peekaboo with me silently, XD. Actually it was my mom who started to entertain him, but eventually he switched his attention to me instead, blehh.. As i said, not much interesting, but i felt he was cute enough to earn a spot in my blogpost.

Next came.. the:

Old chinese gramma
Actually she was kinda lonely - she just came in the building without any relatives accompanying her or something. She was kinda confused with the digitalized system in the department (i think), and probably not familiar with the Malay language spoken by the people there (i think too). Ah well, out of sympathy, mom helped her - by explaining the procedure needed to apply for a passport, etc etc.. She was kinda easygoing though, talked a lil' with me - i guess she's really lonely then.. Kinda reminds me of my late gramma.

That ends my "trip" to the registration department - from 0900 to 1030 hrs. Dunno if its considered fast - or slow.

Oh yeah, did i mention that the photo-taking service was soo awesome? It was like "1, 2.." and i was like "Wai-" and
*Flash* - a flash of white light, and the voice of the photographer, "The photo'll be ready in 4 minutes."
Needless to say, my passport photo shows me as a shocked person! XD, i'd gladly share it up here, but sadly i couldnt.

Catch y'all later.

A happy and auspicious bird of calm..."
