Fall For You - Jatuh bagi kamu

Yesterday and today - the performance-days where every Form 3 class has to prepare two different performances - 1) A song that involves every student in the class, and 2) Anything talent-related that we like. That's just so evil, and i've been appointed Ketua Persembahan as usual - not uncommon as im in such a class =.=

First Performance (Yesterday)

Our song - When You Say Nothing At All by Ronan Keating > Supposed to be sang by the whole class, but none of them cared to check out the song, even after i told them to.

*Flashback*

We went up on stage after a last-minute-positioning, and we had three mikes - One for the whole class, one for Yimin, and one for me. I wasn't supposed to sing in the song actually, but, ya know, there's like only eight people in the class who really knows how to sing the song, so i'd to sing so as to "lead" them.

Backfires?

The mike that i was using was spoilt i think - no sound came out even when i sang into it. Damn it, had to listen to Yimin's crow voice the whole song, mwahahaha (I'm dead).. Nahh, Yimin, nice courage though XD. Furthermore, Eugene didn't plug in his keyboard to an amp, so, keyboard music was non-existent. Performance SUCKS. Period.

Second Performance (Today)

Song - Fall For You by Secondhand Serenade, performed by the weird trio - Yimin, Eugene and me.

Result?

The main problem lies with the sound system again - yesterday it was my mike, and today it's my guitar which was plugged into the amp. Freaking idiots, they turned down the volume for reasons only god knows. My voice was.. was.. was.. i dunno.. Sufferers of my voice please comment? XD. Yimin came in at the wrong time, forcing me to skip a whole paragraph of song. Unluckiness, unluckiness, unluckiness..

Oh yeah btw, did i say that i was one of the four emcees for the performances? Well the others are - YuChuen (3.8), YeYing (3.0), ChingYee(3.1). Nervousness - my first time in secondary school on stage - and even as an emcee too, oh my god.. Not bad, as i conquered my fear of being onstage a lil' bit..

The english forum commenced after recess - and i was still being busy as i have to meet Cik Song for the emcee-after-performance-comments. Blehh, never got a chance to prepare properly for the forum before it started. No notes, no nothing - ah well, i'm going impromptu then.

Topic discussed : "Do you agree that Maths and Scienceare taught in the Malay language instead of English?"

Answer seems easy enough - "NO WAY!", but oh well, we've to give our reasons too.

Quite fun actually, being part of the panel, as we get the chance to openly express our feelings, however sensitive it is, mwahaha. Nah, actually we did stop someone from going on further after he said "The Malay language is stup-"

All in all, quite a nice day for me, feels different to be in a different perspective - being the emcee, being a participant - instead of just being part of the audience. It really feels different, yet full of experience.

Our last day of school tomorrow - kinda miss the school at this time now.. Well not the school specifically, but the students and teachers perhaps.
