Boredom

.. And again, the start of a monotonous holiday ..

Now i wonder why so many people like the holidays so much - do they prefer seeing no one, being stuck at home for several weeks than the other way round..?

I'd prefer school life - where i could meet friends, where i could participate in many activities, where i could..

*Back to today*

Setted my alarm to ring at 7.10AM, but it didnt ring anyway, as.. as.. i accidentally messed up the time, (eg: if it was 5PM now, i accidentally set it to 5AM). So i missed my alarm. Big deal, but i woke up at 7.25AM spontaneously, so no harm done..

My morning started off with my weekly volleyball practice - which eats into the time that was formerly planned for frisbee pickups: Friday 0800 to 1200 hrs. No choice but to go and get myself tortured for that four hours.

Not much to say about the practice - as its just drilling, drilling and more drilling.

Night - Kent's birthday party! Got myself prepared and went to Kent's house at 1900 hrs. And.. i.. was.. like.. wow.. another wow..

Oh geez..

Another palace..

It's overwhelming..

Walked in the palace, and so i started to hang around with Kent and some of my other friends.

I have to say, that was the coolest birthday party that i've ever been in. Catering, plenty of his friends, family and relatives, it was more of a wedding dinner than a birthday party - obviously, he's a damn lucky guy.

Was wearing a coat over my sleeveless, but i took it off after a few minutes in the house - it was so stuffy. And the rest of the party went on as a normal birthday party would - Food, fun, food, laughter, and more food.

The end of the party came.. abit too quick for me. Went home at 10.45pm, and back i am here in front of my computer. Happy birthday to Kent anyways.

Actually its not the party i'd really enjoyed - but the moment where me and my friends could spend together, again - a short few hours without stress, full of enjoyment.

*Back to thoughts*

Holidays.. holidays.. holidays..

Plenty of events planned, but how much i wish for something.. something that would come unexpected.

So Long, Form Three.

The 7.25am bell rings.

Our morning was started by our usual briefing about the day's event in the basketball court, and we were unable to go up to our usual classrooms today - because Form 4 students were using our block for whatever reasons best known themselves.

First program - A talk about proper pronunciation and phonetics - by a team from Cambridge University. Didnt benefit me much actually - as there's already phonetic guides - both in the dictionary and in The Internet.

Second program - A karaoke event, which was kinda free-for-all, seeing as the emcee today was PhuiMin. Form Threes sang, Form Fours sang, a teacher sang, whatever. A bottle of champagne was opened on-stage too. Hokkien songs, Cantonese songs, Korean songs, you name it - they're all available if you'd come to watch just now.

The sad moment - The song “朋友” was played, and everybody joined in. Feels kinda sad that we wont be able to see each others for a month and a half.

"朋友一生一起走, 那些日子不再有, 一句話一輩子一生情一杯酒.."

The 1.10pm bell rings - signalling the start of our holidays.

So long, Form Three - the year i tried the most, the year i experienced the most. A year of many "first"s, a year of many new-found friends.

Farewell.
